Under general supervision, perform a several manufacturing/assembly tasks in accordance with workmanship standards. This role covers basic electronic assembly tasks, processes, equipment operation, adhesive dispense, and hand tools. The Assembler will be tasked to work on products that support production goals in a fast-paced work environment. The Assembler level must be able to perform the duties as described below.
Takes a lead role in developing internal design guidelines for printed wiring board (PWB) designs. Performs a full range of design tasks to produce PWBs for Rantec’s power supply products. Applies a thorough material science knowledge of the interactions and characteristics of materials used in PWB manufacturing and the impact of material choices on design decisions. Interface with PWB manufacturers to ensure Rantec’s designs are compatible with the manufacturing processes of the PWB. Produce the schematic, design the component layout of the circuit board, and create documentation to support manufacturing.
This includes supervision of production flow, delegating tasks to fellow assemblers, labor tracking, time force entries, and load balance of production tasks within the cell. The Supervisor supports the learning and training of their Assembler. He/she focuses on developing the breadth and depth of manufacturing skills within their cell. The Supervisor will advise operators within the cell to support On-Time-Delivery, waste elimination, and improvement of product quality. This role will directly report to the Production Manager.
Provide quality assurance engineering support to product realization processes (requirements review/planning, design development, procurement, and production). Perform quality engineering functional role in material review disposition, communicate and ensure compliance to customer requirements from design to delivery. When called upon, represent Rantec in customer facing roles related to quality assurance and provide leadership on quality related issues.
Provide hands-on leadership to the Test Engineering group within the Test Engineering Department. Design and develop test procedures and equipment to support environmental and electronic testing of power supplies and power conversion products. Ensure all needed Test systems are available and maintained in a functional state. Ensure sufficient trained staff within Test Engineering to meet demand for new and existing products.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Business Development to join Rantec’s leadership team who will lead the Business Development and Account Management teams. The VP of Business Development will be responsible for new business development, forecasting, strategic planning, marketing, and customer satisfaction to support near and long-term growth.
