Custom LV

AC or DC mil-spec inputs, with single or multiple output voltages, at power levels from 10W to 10KW. We are power supply EMI experts, and design for the required MIL-STD-461 requirements. Our custom products are used in military airborne, (fixed wing/rotary wing), shipboard (surface / sub-surface), vehicle (tracked and wheeled), and ground-based applications. Our products are commonly light weight and highly efficient, with on-board health monitoring and prognostics. Having designed hundreds of power supplies over the years gives Rantec the ability to consider product modifications as an alternative to a full development.
VPX Card
Rantec is the high performance choice for VPX power solutions. Our products are designed to meet specific customer requirements in demanding military application, including airborn fighter aircraft systems. With a variety of solutions available, we have an excellent technical baseline for customizing a solution to meet your exact requirements.
Switches & Servers
Rantec is skilled leveraging commericial grade equipment, assessing shortcomings for military applications, and modifying them (mechanically and electrically, including mil-grade power supply) to meet military grade requirements.

Interconnect Technology
Our knowledge and experience in airborne systems revealed a disconnect between performance in airborne applications and standard Vita connectors. Rantec has taken a lead role in defining new Vita standards for Military airborne power connectors, as well as developing and testing connectors to appropriate standards. We offer these products to the marketplace.

Rantec also supports older programs that are no longer in active production, and spares / subassemblies for the AN/APQ-159 F-5 modulator, where we were the OEM supplier.
